Kappa

from $5.00

From the rivers and shores come the diminutive Kappa, but don't let their size fool you: their appetite for mischief knows no bounds! Be clever, be kind, and keep your wits around the waters edge.

With a courteous bow and an offering of snacks, stay their trouble for a spell while you relax in the rich aromas of find rolled green tea and cooling cucumber (the little fellows favorite treat!). Holding up the cooling, green vegital aromas are sweet, earthy white mulberries and roses.

Steeping Notes

Consider also cold steeping or hot steeping as you see fit (enter The Warren for steeping hints). The main thing to note is that lower water temperatures create a sweeter flavor profile while hotter temperatures create a more bitter, astringent profile. More water or less tea will reduce the strength of the tea.

Hot cucumber tea may sound strange, but you’ve got to try it for yourself!

You may also choose to steep in shorter bursts gongfu style to enjoy a longer session with flavors that open up over time.

Tea: 5-6 grams Time: 2-3 minutes. Temp: 88C/190F. Steep up to three times.
